Hi Phil - thanks for the post. Good thinking. (That's right - put me on the spot !!). Don't knock yourself, though - our passion is about enjoyment and sharing. No problem, though - here are a couple of links. I managed to extract Hank's melody line from both tracks, which means that I'm actually accompanied by the rest of The Shads !! I also link to the BT's for others to download and use. Tracks: www.4shared.com/audio/wI3Dp5as/Apache.htmlwww.4shared.com/audio/twPCSLqz/Golden_Street2.htmlBT's: www.4shared.com/audio/9mDHzG2c/ApachexH2.htmlwww.4shared.com/audio/hXvypLEs/Find_Me_a_Golden_st_Ex_HBM_BT_.htmlI play an American Strat fitted with Custom Shop 54 pickups (second hand, bought from Dave Robinson). Bridge pickup, both tracks. Gemini III, stage 2 on both tracks. Boss CS3 Compressor, to add some attack. Yamaha Magic Stomp, with Charlie's patches. 1972 AC30/6 Top Boost - not too much top end, as you can probably hear. Mic'd into my Zoom MRS802 recording desk. I also add some reverb into my recordings - it adds a bit of infill between the echo taps. Oh - and I play hard, to give that typical string slap. Thanks again Phil. Regards, David JM
